Procrastination isn’t about laziness or poor time management. By the time it’s a problem worth treating, you’ve usually tried every productivity app, planner system, and time-blocking technique going. None of them have stuck.
That’s because chronic procrastination isn’t a planning problem. It’s an emotional regulation problem — and that’s what hypnotherapy is good at.
Chronic procrastination is your brain protecting you from an uncomfortable feeling associated with a task:
Putting the task off makes the uncomfortable feeling go away — temporarily. Which trains your brain that procrastination works, even though long-term it makes things worse.
Sessions combine clinical hypnotherapy for lowering the baseline anxiety that fuels avoidance, NLP and CBH for the limiting beliefs and thought patterns, and coaching for practical changes to how you approach tasks.
